How to cancel iCloud+

Free step-by-step cancellation guide

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name.
  2. On iOS 18.4 and later, tap "Subscriptions", then tap iCloud+ under Active.
  3. To cancel, tap "Cancel Subscription". To downgrade, tap "See All Plans" and choose a smaller plan.
  4. On iOS 18 to 18.3: tap iCloud, then "Manage Plan", then "Downgrade Options". On iOS 17 and earlier: tap iCloud, then "Manage Account Storage", then "Downgrade Options". Choose the free 5 GB plan either way.
  5. On a Mac: Apple menu, System Settings, Apple Account, then iCloud, then "Manage Plan" under iCloud+ Features. On Windows: iCloud for Windows, "Manage", then "Change Storage Plan".
  6. With no Apple device at all, Apple's route is reportaproblem.apple.com: sign in, choose "I'd like to", then "Request a refund", then the most recent iCloud+ charge. That cancels the plan; picking a smaller plan needs a device.
  7. Changes take effect at your next billing date.

Keep track of your renewals before they charge you again.
